hairstyle. She wears a belted A-line
cocktail dress of pale blue brocade, cut to
the 'new length', slightly above the knees.

leather pumps and 'diamond' earrings and
broach are the finishing touches to this
classic look.

Golden-tressed
Gene wears a two-tiered evening gown of
magenta silk. The halter neckline of
the gown is lavishly embroidered in gold and
turquoise above a draped and fitted bodice.
A unique, key shaped evening purse is
attached at the waist and covered in
matching embroidery. Gene's hair is
pulled back from the face into a braided
chignon with a carefully placed curl atop
her head. Her jewels consist of gold
chandelier earrings of amethyst and
turquoise stones and a gold and amethyst
cuff bracelet. The jewel tones are
echoed in the beading on the magenta satin
sandals.

Well
the name says it all! We have here a
GORGEOUS little suit made of brown tweed
flecked with gold lurex. Tailored and fitted
to a pencil thin silhouette, SS is all about
the details. A beige satin blouse with Peter
Pan collar is trimmed with a long brown
velvet ribbon tied at the neckline and rests
over the larger lost boy collar of the
jacket. Beneath this fitted jacket, the
narrow skirt is mid-calf and pleated in the
back. The hat is a two-toned cloche made of
shaped felt and trimmed in a chin-length
black veil. A chic ‘mink’ muff and
two-toned oxfords keep the extremities warm
with this striking suit of sparkling woolen
tweed. Our delicious Club Upgrade doll Vee
J. is not included. She’s just the lucky
lady who gets to sparkle in this sepia.

“DeLuxe”
is precisely the perfect word for the
extreme lines of this gown, a long, lean
sheath of eggplant silk. The waist is
defined by an enormous pink silk bow,
lavishly beaded and cinched above a
two-tiered, flounced and slanted overskirt.
Magenta runs riot throughout the accessories
in the form of meticulously tailored satin
evening gloves, ruched and buttoned above
the elbows, and a matching, perfect satin
evening bag.
The jewelry consists of a thick cord of
magenta and mauve beads, knotted and twisted
into a necklace and matching single bead
earrings. Gene’s shoes defy
expectations with pink satin covered heels
and lining, eggplant silk-covered insteps
and (again two-tiered) leather ankle straps
with silver buckles. Look up
