Pauline
Bjonness Jacobsen is the inspiration behind some of the most beautiful dolls
available today. As a child, Pauline gave her much loved Emma doll to
her long lost sister, Trudy, and experienced the joy that comes from sharing
love. More than 50 years later, what was once a hobby has grown into a
much loved family business. The fundamentals have never changed and
there is something of Pauline's family heritage in each and every doll.
Cultural
influences can easily be seen in Pauline's work, reflecting the many
places throughout the world where she has lived, studied and traveled.
A designer at heart, Pauline possesses tremendous talent and expertise
in illustration, painting, sculpting and fashion design.
Ever
since she was a little girl, Pauline's daughter Liesbet has always been
fascinated with tiny treasures and wee little replicas. Together,
Pauline and family wanted to create and share their own little sweethearts
with you. Each adorable Paulinette is all porcelain , measures 8-inches
in height and is packaged in an attractive gift box along with a pretty wood
