1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as whether you're logged in — to make the experience work correctly.
StillPlays uses a minimal set of cookies. We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
2. Cookies StillPlays Uses
Session Cookie
Used to keep you logged in while you browse StillPlays. This cookie is set when you sign in and expires when you log out or close your browser. Without this cookie, the site cannot authenticate you. This cookie cannot be declined.

Cookie Consent Preference
Stores your response to the cookie consent banner (accepted or declined) so we don't show it on every visit. Stored in localStorage rather than a cookie. Persists for the life of your browser storage.

Analytics (Vercel)
If you accept cookies, Vercel may collect anonymised usage data to help us understand how the platform is used (e.g. which pages are visited, load times). This data is anonymised and not linked to your account or personal identity. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
3. What We Don't Use
StillPlays does not use:
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Third-party tracking pixels (Facebook, Google Ads, etc.)
- Cross-site tracking of any kind
4. How to Control Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and Site Permissions
Note: Blocking the session cookie will prevent you from logging in to StillPlays. Blocking localStorage will reset your cookie consent preference on each visit.
To reset your cookie consent choice, clear your browser's localStorage for stillplays.com. The banner will reappear on your next visit.
